Custom Printing Services
Thank you for your interest in our custom printing service! We are currently able to offer custom printing services to non-profit organizations and independent agitators centered in social justice. At Philadelphia Printworks we use a manual screen printing method of manufacturing. This method is best suited for duplication of a simple image in batches of 24 pieces or more.
Screen printing generally consists of 3 costs: garment, labor and screen. We require a minimum of 24 pieces. We can print t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, tanks, tote bags and aprons. The typical order turnaround time is 2 weeks from the date that payment and final artwork are received. Rush orders may be available upon request and incur an additional fee of $50.
GARMENT PRICES
This cost covers the cost of the t-shirt blank. Below you will find a description of each of the more popular shirt brands.
Gildan Soft Style - This is a basic shirt in a mens/unisex cut. It is medium weight. The price is on the lower end of most t-shirts. This brand runs true to size. The G640 model is their basic mens/unisex crew shirt. Pricing starts at $2.96 per shirt.
Bella + Canvas - It is extremely soft and medium weight. The price is mid-level. This brand runs true to size. The 3001 model is their basic mens/unisex crew shirt. Pricing starts at $4.50 per shirt.
Next Level - This is a basic shirt in a mens/unisex cut. It is light weight and comparable to the American Apparel brand. The price is mid-level. This brand runs true to size. The 3600 model is their basic mens/unisex crew shirt. Pricing starts at $4.50 per shirt.
Alternative Apparel - This is a basic shirt in mens/unisex cut. It is medium weight and very soft. The price is on the higher end. This brand runs true to size. The AA1070 model is their basic mens/unisex crew shirt. Pricing starts at $6.50 per shirt.
American Apparel - This brand is is light weight. The price is on the higher end and it tends to run smaller then most other brands. The 2001 model is their basic mens/unisex crew shirt. Pricing starts at $6.50 per shirt.

LABOR PRICES
This cost covers the labor to print the shirts. It is determined by the number of locations and colors. We can print up to 6 colors.
A 1-color print starts at $2 per shirt and goes up $1 each additional color. Each location incurs the same pricing per location.
1-color inner tag printing is $1.25 per shirt.
SCREEN PRICES
This cost covers the stencils needed to print the shirts. It is determined by the number of locations and colors.
Each screen is $35.00 per screen (per color) or $50 per screen for oversized prints.
PRINT READY ARTWORK
In order to begin your order we will need a design file in any of the formats below. Unfortunately, design assistance is not available at this time.
- Adobe Illustrator - File with the type outlined and saved as CS or lower.
- Adobe Photoshop - At least 300dpi up to print size jpg or tiff.
- PNG or PDF - At least 300 dpi.
PAYMENT
Payment in full is required at the time the order is placed. An invoice will be sent to you via email with a payment link. Payment can be made by check, credit card, or PayPal.
