About the Artist: Kathryn Hunter founded Blackbird Press (Blackbird Letterpress) in 2003 in Lafayette, Louisiana, transforming a Chandler & Price 8x12 letterpress and a collection of vintage type into a thriving printshop that has since grown and relocated, now operating with an expanded array of presses and a trio of beloved shop dogs.
