About the Artist: sāgar kāmath is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice spans painting, sculpture, installation, video, collage, public art, and dance, exploring the complexities of his Indian-born American identity through narrative, materiality, and movement. His research-driven work interrogates body, landscape, and colonial histories, and he has exhibited and performed nationally, including as an Artist-in-Residence for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art.
